About books and certain other things: It's still okay....or ...is it ?

Oh yes...I can write..(or so I thought)
So I voted for this theme...
If not a long story..
Then at least a short poem..

But words elude me
When I start today...
Plenty written already
I have no more to say...

I could say about the sudden turn

Life took one fine day...

I should be alright soon...

But right now, it's not okay..

Or about the day, two peas

Of the same pod drifted apart ….

How could it be okay ?

Time hasn't yet healed the broken heart...

Or about dancing to a different drummer ?

It takes courage and all the might...

It's going to be okay one day...

If I don't give up, continue to fight...

Nah...I tear up the sheet...

None of this feels right...

I shall rest my pen...

Maybe this is not my night....

And slowly I turn to others...

Fine stories, poems & whatnots I read...

Aha ! There are some wonderful pieces...

What if I could not succeed....

Now I know finally...It's still okay...

Doesn't matter if I can't write...

Reading always enriches the soul....

And makes your life sparkling and bright....
